You’re On In Five - The Art of Understudying is hosted by Chicago actors Scott Sawa and Elana Elyce, who speak with actors about their experiences as an understudy, and how those roles have informed their technique and career. We discuss the preparation, the rehearsal (or not), and the occasional glory of the understudy actor. This show amplifies the voices of the diverse community of artists in Chicago Storefront Theatre, focusing especially on the actor’s technique, experience, and journey.
